The Back-Up series is the original series of tutors.
These all began in the mid 1980’s and have increased in number over the years in line with my own progress on the pedal steel guitar.
The originals were hand written and the recordings were on cassette tape.
Later, we had some tab paper designed to fit the type-writer and we transferred all the tab etc to typed format. Later still, I learned to use a PC and transferred it all again. So the finished product is now rather modern.
Our biggest problem to date is that we cannot seem to transfer the tape to CD while keeping a reasonable quality of sound and correcting the pitch as well, so we decided to leave it all on cassette for now.
