The aim of this web-site is to offer to the steel guitar player, a range of courses to help with learning to play this beautiful instrument; also, to keep steel guitarists and enthusiasts updated with what is happening in the world of Steel Guitar in the UK.
From 1973 to 1976, I was playing lead guitar in one or two bands in the Bristol area, then when I bought the lap-steel, I played both for a while until a player in Swansea advised me to leave the Stratocaster at home if I really wanted to progress on the steel, I took his advice and made progress.
